Abide Art Studio was founded in the summer of 2020 and is based in the remote countryside of New Hampshire. Abide is the studio name for artist and founder Sarah Grasso. Over the years, Sarah has grown her small art business through an incredible online and in-person collector community. Her work has been welcomed into many homes throughout the country and internationally. Interior Design studios from all over have included her artwork into their design projects. And Sarah often works one-on-one with collectors and clients on special commissioned artworks. You can now find her work in several home and interior storefronts throughout the New England region and in several online print shops.

A NOTE FROM THE ARTIST:

As a self-taught watercolor artist, I never received any formal training or the how-to’s when it comes to painting and composition. Thankfully, both my parents are artists along with my paternal grandparents - so I’ve definitely learned a thing or two from them along the way. My personal interest in interior design along with my love for nature and the New England countryside inspire my artwork and help guide my eye for design. And I am a firm believer in surrounding oneself with everyday beauties, and I believe the home is the foundational place for doing just that - whether through fresh cuts from the garden, charming furnishings and textiles, or, you guessed it - artwork. There is no place quite like home, and surrounding myself with beautiful artwork and meaningful home elements is my favorite way to add value and meaning to my home space. It is my belief that whether we realize it or not, with each element we bring into our home, we personalize and style our living space with an intention that speaks most to us. It is within this space we abide and find rest; it is within this space where families grow and are nurtured; and it is within this space where we welcome others and commune. These intentions are the way we turn a house into a beloved home.

With my artwork, I get to be a part of just that. When someone purchases a piece of my artwork, they are expressing that that particular art piece will bring beauty and add value to their home - and that is the best joy to have a part in!
